The results are in. Donald Trump will be heading back to the White House. Along with it, the Republicans have also assumed control over the Senate. The House hasn’t been decided yet.
Like any election, there are some people happy and some people upset.
That’s democracy.
On Wednesday, regardless of your thoughts, the sun came up and we all began our days as we usually do. We went to work, school or wherever else our days take us.
Contrary to what many say, they aren’t moving to another country. Your neighbor will still be your neighbor.
The stock market and economy isn’t going to crash because a certain candidate won or lost an election.
You know why? Because both parties win and lose. That’s democracy at work.
In 2012 Democrats won. In 2016 Republicans won. In 2020 Democrats won. In 2024 Republicans won.
As a country we’ve moved on after each and every election. This election is no different. We’re all still here. It’s onward and upward for the United States. Just as it has always been.
Let’s take a look at where this points for the road ahead for the stock market and economy.
