My Most Read Book and Watched Speech
"If you don't like to read, you haven't found the right book." - J.K. Rowling
This is the second part of my post from last week on my most gifted and most read books.
My most read book, Essentialism by Greg McKeown.
I’ve read this book each year since it came out. My plan is to read this book every year. It seems each time I read it, I pick up something new. Greg does such a fantastic job of relating what he is saying to just about anyone. It can be applied to your career or your personal life.
This book helped shape and change my life, both personally and professionally. You will be nodding your head a lot in agreement with what he says. Be prepared to highlight, take notes or pause the audiobook. It’s that kind of a book. I hope you get as much out of this book as I have.
Lessons From a Third Grade Dropout: Last week I shared this video in my quarterly newsletter to all our clients. I’ve received so much feedback from it that I wanted to share it with you as well.
I watch this video every few months. Rick Rigsby gave this commencement speech a few years ago. One of the best speeches I have ever heard. Too many words to describe it. All I will say is just watch it and I’m betting it won’t be just once.
