Stocks had a strong week across the board. The S&P 500 climbed 1.1% to close at 7,490, now up 9.4% year to date. The Nasdaq led the way with a 1.6% gain to 25,374, while the Dow added 1.0% to reach 52,485. Small caps were roughly flat, with the Russell 2000 up just 0.1% on the week, though it remains the standout performer for the year at 17.2%

The one note of caution came from the bond market, where the 10-year Treasury yield jumped 1.4% to 4.75%, its highest level in over a year, as investors grew less confident the Fed can keep inflation in check. In commodities, oil pulled back 2.8% to $86.80 but is still up a massive 50.0% year to date. Gold was little changed at $4,099, and Bitcoin slipped 1.3% to 62,905, leaving it down 28.1% on the year.
